Woke up 2 days ago with a pinched nerve in my back. I occasionally get these. Bad sleeping habits, sleeping in weird positions, tossing and turning too much (stress of being a small entrepreneur) or something else caused this pain in the left side near the middle of the back. I hate when it happens in the summer and can't golf until it gets better which usually takes about 5-7 days.
So having researched Far Infrared Heat and selling products using this technology I decided why not be the guinea pig myself. So came to the office at 9 AM and put on one of our new Kickstarter products the FIR heated Vest Liner. Had it on high with a softshell jacket on top for about 4 hours when the battery ran out. Swapped the battery and had it on again for another 4 hours and did it one more time after that. Yes I spend more than 12 hours at the office almost every day of the week.
At the end of the day the pain seemed to have gotten a lot better. By the time I got home had dinner, helped the kids with their homework and tucked them in, the pain was completely gone. I mean nothing at all. Disappeared. Although not a complete shock as I was expecting some results from the FIR heat therapy but to be pain free in one day was an absolute miracle. I can't stress the benefits of this heating technology while being very safe with no chance of hot spots or wires breaking.
Kickstarter campaign is about done. Final touches being put on the videos by our Montreal production team led by Terrence. Can't wait to see the final results and go live with these heated liners. Here's hoping for the best.
Last year I bough a pair of the heated gloves for my wife. She always has sorry, had cold hands. Almost every time she puts them on she states that this is the best gift ever – and she has got some really good stuff over the 35 plus years we have been together.
We are both on the ski patrol and both have a pair of gloves. At the end of the day when we are closing the hills and are tired there is nothing like warm hands.

I love my new FIR glove liners. Thank you very much Jimmy. As advertised, they are super low profile and very flexible, so they fit under basically any glove you can come up with.
My only beef is the battery lifetime, which is very close to it’s advertised duration. It just isn’t long enough for me to go from break to break at work even on medium setting, and the day really wasn’t terribly cold. This is what I need. 3.5hrs on high temp setting.
May I suggest offering a bigger longer life battery, or maybe an adapter/ extension to the battery you use to power your heated vests, which could be carried in a coat pocket or a belt or holster.
Once again, I can’t stress enough how much I love this product. It just needs to be able to run at full power for a longer time. That would make it absolutely next level.
I have owned my vest now for many years. I wear it most of the winter, especially when temperatures really dip. This winter, I had to replace the batteries. This was to be expected as they don’t last forever.
I had the distinct pleasure to deal directly with the owner to get my vest working again properly. He was extremely proactive and responsive to get my vest back up and running properly, he was never standoffish or unhelpful. He responded to my emails quickly. It became quite evident that he cares about his product, and cares about his customers and their product experience.
For quality of service and product, I highly recommend this company.
I discovered the Fired Up products at the Toronto Snow Show and was immediately intrigued. I have Raynauds syndrome so my hands are always freezing in cold weather, even with the best ski gloves, so I thought that the Fired Up gloves liners might help. The first time I tried them out on the slopes, I couldn’t believe the difference! I also was incredibly impressed with the customer service I received from Jimmy at Fired Up. He definitely went above and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied with the product. I would recommend his products to anyone.
I always like to promote worthwhile product, especially if the company is local. This heated gear truly is great. To say that I am always cold would be an understatement. The vest and gloves keep me toasty warm in all temperatures. Whether I am out on the parking lot teaching motorcycling to new riders, doing my daily gig as a crossing guard, riding my motorcycle in early spring or well into the fall, or puttering around outside doing chores, I no longer feel the cold like I used to. So glad I came across this product and have been recommending it to everyone!
